KINGSLEY staves are manufactured from
prime quality Denish beech timber. The wood of the staves are selected from pieces free
from visible defects like bark pockets, knots, cracks, honeycombing, splits, and gumducts,
which are likely to affect the life and perfection in pinning the staves. The wood are
seasoned in kiln seasoning in accordance with IS : 1141 – 1973 ‘Code of
practice for seasoning of timber.’ The wood thus become sealed against moisture to
prevent distortion.
The seasoned wood are machined to a
tolerance on all dimensions, then drilled, & pinfitted in machines using state of the
art technology. The product realisation process of staves is supported by activities of
Quality Assurance conforming to standard IS 7034 : 1973 backed by Certified Quality
Management Systems. The perfect workmanship ensures maximum life of staves.
