KINGSLEY manufactures Cardpins & Metapins used in wooden and aluminium staves of drum rollers of carding machines and Gillpins used in Gill bars of jute industries. The drum rollers mainly are Cylinder, Breaker, Feeder, Worker, Worker Stripper, Feed Stripper & Doffer.

Kingsley manufactured pins are widely used in Teaser Card, Breaker Card, Inter Card, and Finisher Card due to assured pin life, which is a critical factor in pinned rollers.

KINGSLEY PINS are made from cold-drawn smooth-finished high carbon steel wire conforming to designation 7506 of IS 1570 (Part 2) : 1979. The pins are manufactured in specially designed grinding machines using state of the art technology. All pins are hardened & tempered in fully automatic continuous heat treatment furnace using state of the art technology of Germany to provide strength without brittleness, and suitably polished so as to retain the sharpness of tip and to give bright smooth finish to the body of the pin. The product realisation process of pins is supported by activities of impact test stiffness test, breaking test, & hardness test conforming to standard IS 4909 : 1990 backed by Certified Quality Management Systems. The smooth shape with sharp point of pins reduces the chance of damaging fine or short fibres. In addition, both the grain of the metal and the grind marks from manufacture run perpendicular to the direction of travel of the fibres which gives the pins great resistence to abrasion. Thus longer pin life and improved fibre handling characteristics are ensured.

KINGSLEY offers pins having diameter ranging from 0.048 inch (1.22 mm) to 0.192 inch (4.88 mm) manufactured to a tolerance of 0.0005 inch (0.012 mm) with lengths ranging from 11/16 inch (17.46 mm) to over 1.7/8 inch (47.63 mm).
